How INSOMNIA tickets work: QR, email, and the door
24 October 2026 · Entendre
A ticket for INSOMNIA is a digital pass. You do not collect a paper stub. You pay online, then you receive an email from the ticketing stack with your code and a QR image.
Buy only on entendre.site. The button takes you to a RedFace Pay checkout. Card and the usual South African methods that Paystack supports are the point. When the payment succeeds, the system issues a ticket row, generates a QR token, and queues the branded email.
At the door, staff scan the QR. Status moves from valid to checked in. If you already went in, a second scan will not invent a new entry. If you bought more than one ticket, you will have more than one code. Each person needs their own scan.
Keep the email. Screenshots can work if the QR is sharp, but the original email is safer. If the mail is late, check spam, then contact Entendre with the email address you used at checkout. Do not send card details.
Promoter links look like /tickets?artist=name. Those links still sell the same R200 ticket. They only attribute the sale so promoters can be counted. They are not a different price.
Complimentary tickets are issued from admin. They are free, they still have a QR, and they still count toward the room. They do not inflate paid revenue.
That is the whole path: site, pay, email, scan.
